John Hutton focuses his practice on advising investment banks, corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors and alternative lenders in cross-border leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Hutton also has experience in special situations and asset-based lending.
Mr. Hutton has been recognized for his work in acquisition finance and bank lending by The Legal 500 UK.
Mr. Hutton received an LL.B. from Newcastle University in 2011 and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice with distinction from Kaplan Law School in 2012.
Mr. Hutton joined Cravath in 2023 and was named European counsel in 2024.
