Prior to joining Cravath, Ms. Dovey’s notable transactions include representing the lenders in connection with financing TDR Capital’s public‑to‑private acquisition of Arrow Global, Xavier Niel’s €3.1 billion public‑to‑private acquisition of Iliad Group, I Squared Capital and TDR Capital’s public‑to‑private acquisition of Aggreko, SS&C Technologies’ acquisition of Blue Prism, Concordia Healthcare’s acquisition of Amdipharm Mercury, HIG Capital’s acquisition of Acqua & Sapone and Daisy Group’s public‑to‑private acquisition of the Phoenix IT Group, representing the initial purchasers in Consolis Group’s €300 million senior secured notes offering and the $550 million bond issuance by Silversea Cruises and representing the underwriters in financing Hellman & Friedman’s bid for Allfunds Bank.

Ms. Dovey has been recognized for her work in acquisition finance and bank lending by The Legal 500 UK, and she is ranked among the top 25 in “Rising Stars 2022: The UK’s Best Up and Coming Female Lawyers” by Law.com International.

Ms. Dovey grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She received a B.Com Law cum laude in 2006 and an LL.B. cum laude in 2008 from The University of Johannesburg.

Ms. Dovey joined Cravath as European counsel in 2023.
