Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West
Andrew C. Finch is a member of the Antitrust Practice. An accomplished antitrust lawyer with extensive experience in both civil and criminal antitrust litigation and investigations, Mr. Finch previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Antitrust Division as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General.
Mr. Finch is among the leading antitrust lawyers in the United States. He is regularly called upon by clients to handle critical antitrust litigation and investigations, as well as merger reviews for major transactions.
At the DOJ, Mr. Finch served as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General from April 2017 to August 2019 and Acting Assistant Attorney General from April 2017 to September 2017. In these roles, he managed the entirety of the Antitrust Division’s operations, encompassing merger reviews, civil and criminal antitrust investigations, litigation and appeals. Mr. Finch’s responsibilities involved supervising numerous significant merger reviews and litigations, and negotiating civil and criminal settlements, which included consent decrees involving deferred prosecution agreements, divestitures and plea agreements.
