Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West
Allen Finkelson retired from Cravath’s Corporate Department in December 2011. Mr. Finkelson’s practice focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Finkelson was born in New York, New York. He received a B.A. magna cum laude from St. Lawrence University in 1968, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1971, where he was an Editor of the Columbia Law Review.
Mr. Finkelson joined Cravath in 1971 and became a partner in 1977. In 1983, he left Cravath to be a Managing Director in the mergers and acquisitions group at Lehman Brothers, and returned to the Firm in 1985.
