Cravath partner Sharonmoyee Goswami was a featured guest on the October 11, 2022 episode of “Personal Jurisdiction,” a podcast series hosted by the University of New Mexico School of Law’s Assistant Professor of Law Allison Freedman and University of Illinois Chicago Law School Adjunct Professor and attorney Hallie Ritzu. In the interview, Sharon spoke about how studying chemical engineering at Princeton University sparked an interest in technological innovation, which continues to influence her current work on litigation matters involving complex scientific issues. She described what initially drew her to Cravath, including how “there’s no specific type of partner or person who ends up being successful,” and how the Firm’s rotation system developed her skills as a litigator by exposing her to many areas of law and all stages of a case. Sharon also reflected on her path to joining the Firm’s partnership and shared some of the advice she gives young lawyers.
