Reggie Brown Settles with Snapchat

On September 8, 2014, Reggie Brown reached a settlement with Snapchat, and Snapchat’s CEO, Evan Spiegel, and CTO, Bobby Murphy. The settlement resolved, on mutually agreeable terms to all parties, Mr. Brown’s claim to an ownership interest in Snapchat. The terms of the settlement are confidential.

Cravath was Mr. Brown’s lead counsel. The Cravath team included partner Keith R. Hummel, senior attorney James E. Canning and associates Benjamin R. Osborn, Max W. Abend and Amarachukwu O. Osisioma. The case is Brown v. Snapchat, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC 501483.
