Legaltech News Recognizes Cravath in its 2023 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards

On March 20, 2023, Cravath was honored by Legaltech News at its 2023 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards, which celebrates “the achievements of law firms, legal departments and vendors leading the legal profession into the future through technology and innovation.” The Firm was announced as the winner in the “Litigation and E‑Discovery” category for its e‑discovery team’s use of artificial intelligence and other tools to identify and evaluate documents and search for key documents in a litigation.

In connection with the recognition, Cravath partner Vanessa A. Lavely and lead attorney for data analytics and e‑discovery Scott Reents were featured in a Q&A, in which they discussed how the Firm has expanded its use of AI in litigation and implemented various technologies innovatively to solve legal problems. They also discussed the importance of learning about different technology tools, noting that, “Discovering the potential of a tool and using it to get better results for one’s firm and clients is what the heart of legal innovation is about.”
