Lazard’s SPAC IPO

Cravath represented Lazard in connection with the $575 million initial public offering of Lazard Growth Acquisition Corp. I, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) listed on the NASDAQ exchange. Lazard is one of the world’s preeminent financial advisory and asset management firms. The transaction closed on February 12, 2021.

The Cravath team included partners Erik R. Tavzel and Nicholas A. Dorsey and associates Nicholas J. Maida, Carly J. Goeman and Nicole M. Gould on corporate matters, partner Andrew W. Needham and associate Arvind Ravichandran on tax matters, and associate Anna Mikaelyan on executive compensation and benefits matters.
