Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West
On October 15, 2024, Law360 published an article written by Cravath of counsel Megan Y. Lew entitled “To Report or Not to Report Others’ Export Control Violations.” The article explores changes to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS)’s enforcement program, including the introduction of cooperation credit that can be made available to a company that has previously reported violations by others of the BIS’ Export Administration Regulations that resulted in an enforcement action, and reviews the considerations that companies should take into account when deciding whether to move forward with making such reports.
