John White and Michael Arnold Speak at the University of Delaware’s Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance 2023 ESG Program

On February 22, 2023, Cravath partners John W. White and Michael L. Arnold participated in a program hosted by the University of Delaware’s John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance. Entitled “The Evolving ESG Landscape: Practical Advice for Boards and Companies Today,” the interactive program explored how boards can navigate the evolving ESG landscape, and examined challenging ESG‑related issues that boards and companies may face, including fiduciary duties, the importance of reliable ESG data management and internal control procedures, ESG metrics and targets related to compensation plans, ESG activism and shareholder proposals.
