On September 21, 2023, Cravath partner Evan Norris participated in Global Investigations Review Live’s 2023 New York Investigations Meeting. Evan spoke on a panel entitled “The DOJ’s Renewed Focus on Individual Prosecution,” which reviewed considerations around attorney‑client privilege and the structuring of internal investigations in light of the Justice Department’s renewed emphasis on the prosecution of corporate executives.

As part of the no‑admit, no‑deny settlement, GSAM agreed to pay $4 million as a civil money penalty.

On June 1, 2022, Aramex PJSC (“Aramex”), a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transport solutions, announced it has entered into a binding agreement to fully acquire Access USA Shipping LLC (“MyUS”), a global technology‑driven platform that enables cross‑border e‑Commerce, for a cash purchase price of $265 million, subject to customary adjustments. Cravath is representing Aramex in connection with the transaction.
