On October 19, 2022, Cravath partner David R. Marriott participated in Global Competition Review Live’s Global Merger Control 2022 conference, which was held in Brussels, Belgium. Dave spoke on a panel entitled “Back to the Future: Does There Remain a Role for Economics in Merger Review?,” which reviewed different economic evidence and analysis merging parties could produce for merger reviews as antitrust authorities consider new theories to evaluate potential harm in mergers.
