Dave Marriott Speaks at GCR Live’s 2023 Global Merger Control Conference

On October 13, 2023, Cravath partner David R. Marriott participated in Global Competition Review Live’s 2023 Global Merger Control conference, which was held in Brussels, Belgium. Dave spoke on a panel entitled “Under the Microscope – What Are the Agencies Looking for on Non‑Horizontal Mergers?,” which reviewed considerations around competition authorities’ increasing readiness to intervene on the basis of complex theories of harm across vertical or adjacent markets, including whether these vertical concerns are only an issue for innovative markets or are likely to have broader application.
