Dave Kappos Speaks at ITIF and Geneva Network Webinar on COVID‑19 and IP Rights

On May 24, 2021, Cravath partner David J. Kappos spoke at a webinar entitled “The Role of Intellectual Property Rights in Ending the COVID‑19 Pandemic,” which was hosted by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation and Geneva Network. Dave and his fellow panelists discussed the role of intellectual property rights in the development and manufacture of COVID‑19 vaccines, the risks and implications of a global waiver of IP rights, and better approaches for scaling up mass vaccine and therapeutic manufacturing.
