Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West

Cravath partner Gary A. Bornstein was named to Crain’s New York Business’s 2024 list of “Notable LGBTQIA+ Leaders,” published on June 24, 2024. The feature honors professionals who “excel in their respective fields” and maintain a “commitment to creating inclusive and equitable workplaces.”
Crain’s highlighted Gary’s responsibilities as Co‑Head of the Litigation Department—the first gay department head in the Firm’s history—and his role as a partner liaison to Cravath’s LGBTQIA+ affinity group since its inception. The publication recognized in particular his representation of Epic Games in its antitrust trial victory against Google.

On December 11, 2023, a jury unanimously ruled in favor of Cravath client Epic Games (“Epic”) on all counts in its closely watched antitrust case against Google in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, determining—after a multiweek trial—that Google has engaged in anticompetitive behavior in the distribution of mobile apps and in the handling of in‑app payments.
