COVID-19: Debt Buyback Considerations

On March 30, 2020, Cravath prepared for its clients a resource entitled “Debt Buyback Considerations in Light of COVID‑19,” which provides a general overview of debt buybacks and certain considerations that companies should take into account when evaluating opportunities to repurchase outstanding debt that may have a significantly reduced price due to the market effects of the COVID‑19 epidemic.
