WestRock’s $2.28 Billion Acquisition of Multi Packaging Solutions

On January 24, 2017, WestRock Company and Multi Packaging Solutions International Limited announced that they have reached a definitive agreement for WestRock to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Multi Packaging Solutions, a leading global provider of print‑based specialty packaging solutions, for $18.00 per share in cash and the assumption of an estimated $873 million in net debt, for a total enterprise value of $2.28 billion. Cravath is representing WestRock in connection with the transaction.
