Cravath represented the initial purchasers, led by Citigroup and Credit Suisse, in connection with the US$450 million 144A/Reg. S high‑yield senior subordinated debt offering of TransDigm Inc., a leading global designer, producer and supplier of highly engineered aircraft components. Proceeds of the offering were used to finance the acquisition of certain assets of Pexco LLC by TransDigm. The transaction closed on May 14, 2015.
The Cravath team included partner William J. Whelan III and associates Welton E. Blount Jr. and Hyatt M. Howard on corporate matters and partner Christopher K. Fargo on tax matters. June Hwang also worked on tax matters.
