The Deal Names Cravath Restructuring Advisory Firm of the Year and Recognizes the Firm for Deals of the Year in 2019 Awards Series

On June 20, 2019, Cravath was named “Restructuring Advisory Firm of the Year” by The Deal as part of its 2019 Awards series, which recognizes “leaders of the deal economy.” In an article featuring Cravath in connection with the honor, The Deal highlighted Cravath’s work representing The Weinstein Company “through one of the most high‑profile chapter 11 cases of the year,” noting the Firm’s ability “to preserve the value of an unusual and complicated set of assets.” The Deal also noted Cravath’s ongoing work related to the chapter 11 cases of PG&E Corp. and Pacific Gas and Electric Company, California’s largest utility company.
