Shell’s $70 Billion Acquisition of BG Group

On April 8, 2015, Royal Dutch Shell plc and BG Group plc announced that they have entered into an agreement under which Royal Dutch Shell will acquire BG Group in a transaction valued at approximately $70 billion in cash and stock. Cravath is acting as U.S. counsel to Royal Dutch Shell in connection with this transaction.

The Cravath team is led by partners William P. Rogers Jr. and Richard Hall and includes senior attorney Sophia D. Tawil and associate Zara Bari on corporate matters.
