Cravath partners David J. Kappos, Noah Joshua Phillips and Nicholas A. Dorsey participated in Cornell Tech’s Board of Directors Forum, which was held from March 26‑27, 2025 in New York. The forum, designed for board members and senior leaders, convened business and legal practitioners, Cornell faculty, former senior government regulators and directors of private and public companies to discuss how corporate boards can stay ahead of developing technologies, regulatory trends and geopolitical shifts.
Dave moderated a panel entitled “AI, Digital Transformation and the Board,” which explored the intersection of AI, digital transformation and the role of the board in shaping a company’s future, and a panel entitled “Data as a Strategic Asset,” which discussed the growing importance of data as a strategic asset in today’s business landscape. Noah delivered a keynote address entitled “Trump 2.0 Antitrust Merger Enforcement: What To Expect,” which assessed the new Administration’s approach to merger control. Nick moderated a panel entitled “Setting the Tone at the Top: Board Opportunities & Challenges,” which discussed the strategic role of boards in driving long‑term value, fostering innovation and ensuring organizational resilience in an increasingly complex business environment.
