Following the recent settlement from the overturned conviction of Kareem Bellamy, who was wrongfully accused and spent 14 years in prison for second degree murder, the New York Law Journal published an article on the case entitled “Wrongfully Imprisoned Man Settles Claims for $2.75M.” The article notes Cravath’s role in the case, which led to vacating Bellamy’s 1994 conviction and granting him a new trial.
