Cravath’s New York Office Moves to Two Manhattan West
On February 25, 2019, Barrick Gold Corporation (“Barrick”) announced that it has made a proposal to the Newmont Mining Corporation (“Newmont”) Board of Directors to merge with Newmont in an all‑share transaction. Under the proposal, Barrick shareholders would own approximately 55.9 percent of the combined company and Newmont shareholders would own approximately 44.1 percent. Cravath is representing Barrick in connection with the transaction.
